SEASON X

In 2009-2010 we presented the World Premieres of two exciting operas: Solidarity, English-born Netherlands composer Patrick Dailly's powerful commedia recreation of the imposition of martial law in Poland (September-October 2009); Sex and the Bible: The Opera (Part I), Bay Area composer Mark Alburger's provocative and brilliant expose of the Book of Genesis by way of Las Vegas (March 5-14, 2010).

NOW IS THE TIME to bring you 10 new short operas/song cycles in our 10th Anniversary of Fresh Voices Festival of New Works 2010.

Please join us as we Xplore: an erotic transformation in Hungary; starving artists in a sideshow in Czechoslovakia; a pioneer woman in Nebraska driven mad by loneliness; an Xpresident disintegrating in America. And more!

How can we do this in the face of so many empty pockets (including ours)? The truth is, WE CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU. We need you in the audience. We need your gifts. We need your appreciation and support.

Your eternally optimistic servant of new works and brave singers,
Harriet March Page,
Artistic Director
